I have a little virtual server and run one installation of DNN on it. Version 4.9.

It works just fine and i don't want to upgrade it to 5.0.1 quite yet.

On my dev machine i run a dev environment of the same version. I have now also installed another instance of DNN , this time 5.0.1 on this machine.

So that i can play with developing modules for this version for the future. As well as test my old modules on it.

Now, i am thinking i might install an instance on my virtual server.

So that i have v4.9 and v5.0.1 running side by side. Has anyone done that using the 'install' package, and did that work ok?

I want to make sure i won’t be creating any problems for my live pages.

Thanks
