Ok I set IIS to anonymous, and went to my c:\dotnetnuke directory(Root of website) I checked the security settings and verified that network service had full control permissions. I also did the replace permmisions on all child objects under the advanced button.

This resulted in a 401.3 You are not authorized to view this webpage error. If I turn on integrated windows authentication it will let me in. If I use my windows signon.

Just an update.

I notice that this error only applies to asp pages. Html pages work fine, we even put a couple of flash pages out there and they work too.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling .net 2.0. I think I will uninstall and reinstall 1.1 to see if that makes a difference.

Fixed!! Turns out it was the permisions on the assorted .net folders.
