Hi,

Anybody pls help us....
we recently upgraded from 4.9.1 to 4.9.3. we followed the below steps to upgrade

1) we download upgrade package of 4.9.3 (DotNetNuke_Community_04.09.03_Upgrade.zip) from http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=25790.
2) we replaced our application folders with this upgrade package.
3) i run the /install/install.aspx from the browser and it said upgraded successfully..
4) after this i build by application and got the 4 build errors with Admin/Dashboard/DashboardControls.ascx, see the image below for build errors...

I got the below error when i tried running my application from browser by creating virtual directory.

den i tried by putting breakpoint and it showed the error as below in "Initialize.Init(app)" line which is shown in the image below. the stack trace for this error was showing
"   at System.Activator.CreateInstance(Type type, Boolean nonPublic)    at System.Activator.CreateInstance(Type type)    at DotNetNuke.Framework.Reflection.CreateObject(String TypeName, String CacheKey, Boolean UseCache)    at DotNetNuke.Framework.Reflection.CreateObject(String ObjectProviderType, String ObjectProviderName, String ObjectNamespace, String ObjectAssemblyName, Boolean UseCache)    at DotNetNuke.Framework.Reflection.CreateObject(String ObjectProviderType, String ObjectNamespace, String ObjectAssemblyName)    at DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider.CreateProvider()    at DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider..cctor()"

pls help us in resolving this issue...

waiting for reply..

Thanks & Regards,
Shwetha R.K.

to upgrade source installation of DotNetNuke, please use source package of new version. Make sure, to remain previously used web.config.file.
