I got over the first hurdle.  I just downloaded the project template so VS 2005 has DDN as a template then I downloaded the dotnetnuke_template from here http://www.johnczimmerman.com/Default.aspx?tabid=288 and put it in my project files under Providers->DataProviders->SqlDataProfiders.  Then I added and existing item to the project though VS 2005.  I did not setup any databases on SQL Server 2005.   It took 3 times to compile it and then by magic it started to install.  So now i have a working project of DDN.  Understand this is just to get the project underway.  I have not publish this to my website yet but will right back when i get the done.

Glad you were able to get setup. Google has answers for every problem that I've ever run into. The problem is that most people either don't bother searching or don't investigate enough to find the right answers thru Google. Oh well... One day they'll all learn
