Hi, I've not used DNN before and haven't yet attempted to install it yet.

I've looked at the documentation for (allegedly) versions 4 and 5, but the instructions refer to much earlier versions of DNN so I'm unable to tell if my PC can be used to develop local websites using later versions of DNN.

Does anyone know what version of DNN would be compatible with Xp Pro SP3 which runs IIS5.1 ???

I also want to install Visual Web Developer Express 2008 and SQL Server Express 2008 to use with DNN and am not able to determin whether these are compatible with DNN version 4 and 5. Anyone know?

Thanks.

You should be just fine with XP Pro using IIS 5.1, as well as VSWD 2k8 and SQLexp2k8.

DNN will run on all of those, you can also do module development using VWD.
