Hi all,

I just upgrade from 5.0.1 to 5.1.0 with success. However I found a small bug maybe useful to others.

Before I upgrade I put simple paragraph in home for intro words and got "more..." at the end. The "more..." is a link I point to existing page (My own getting started page to elebrate the intro) in the portal. The link URL look like this LinkClick.aspx?link=57&tabid=38. It generated from FCKEditor, insert edit link, browse server, link type page as usual how we add a link in the editor to point to any existing DNN page.

After upgrade, the link does not work anymore, it shows:

The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /LinkClick.aspx

Maybe it cause of the new friendly url just remove tabid in the url. Then I edit the link back, the link use the same link no and tabid "LinkClick.aspx?link=57&tabid=38" I try then ok. Who have many linkclick in their page, please check.

I don't fully understand the issue, Linkclick should be available in DNN5.1 as well.

I also get the same message an my users can not download theese files. But when I am logged in as admin or host there is nothing wrong with the links. Only when I am as a regular user.

Server Error in '/' Application.

Please help since now I have to manually send all the files to my clients

double check your web.config and make sure you have the LinkClick.aspx http handler configured, look at the default web.config in the install package and copy over the section for LinkClick in the <handlers> and <httpHandlers> section if the handler is missing
