Hi,

I am new to DNN - I bought "Professional DotNetNuke Module Programming" and I followed the steps in chapter 2 (Installing DotNetNuke).

I am certain that I did everything right, yet when I type "localhost/dnn/" I can't get past the first page! - when I click the "Next" button, the page reloads.

I re-traced my steps (went over the instuctions in the book again - of course), but did not get anywhere.

I am not sure what information to provide for the gurus to suggest a solution.

Operating system: XP Pro
SQL Server 2008

Kindly advise.

Thank you.

During the setup, I did not modify the connection string in web.config - once I did, the everything worked fine.
