The thread broke when I responded ... I guess the next version of the forums module fixes this issue.

Ok, doing a follow up on my websites "problems" .. in the end .. it appears the web.config was the reason for all the errors I kept encountering..

The base code has gone through many itterations of upgrads.. and well it just seems the web.config has not followed suite..

one of the  major "trouble makers" it seems.. was the Gallery module that use to be a part of the distor... from what I can tell it changed the "editor" to something other than FCK.. and that didn't go over well

what I did.. was took a clean install of 5.1 and a copy of my .4.9.2 base with the upgrade installed.. and started chopping and editing the web.config while compairing it to the 5.1

I'll post my "adds" and "removes" after this one.. as it's a long list.. but at least I have a 5.1 update working despite a login issue.. guessing its a simular probably as what I alread have.
