i am new to dotnet nuke. but i know how to install dotnetnuke.

Please suggest me can we use dotnetnuke without database

if  there is any process to install dotnetnuke without database please send me the details how to install .

Hi Srinu,

DotNetNuke installation is very simple but with out database it is not possible. But we dont need to worry about database deep knowledge.

Only we need to create on DB and in web.cofing only need to add proper conection string. thats . If you googled for installation you will many help wiht screen shots

If you want to install on production then may Host Providers are providing installable package we excellent UI In this this wizard will create db for you

DotNetNuke is a database driven system, you must have a database for it to function.

Please be informed that you can use any version of MS SQL Server (2000 and above), including SQL Server Express (excluding compact edition).
