Thanks everyone.

I'm stuck with Win 7 as I'm a lecturer and need to find issues and problems way before we deploy it, and I have to say that it's been working really well for everything else I use (Logitech aside).

I'll try the suggestions here and if I conclude it's an issue with Win 7 I'll set up a dual boot with Vista.  I'll let you know how I get on.

I think you meant Windows 7 is no longer beta...  :)

It's also still unreleased though.

The real issue will be the process account mentioned above.

So now that Win 7 and 2008 have been out for a while, is there a guide for installing DNN 5 on these platforms? (I may have missed it since I came accross this thread first). Thanks.
