Well, it was decided that an upgrade was due for the whole portal.  So I decided to create a child portal for developing the new portal.  The new child portal did not work for some reson and it also stuffed up the parent portal so I can no longer log in.

The parent portal is at http://www.churchlands.org.au

The new child portal is meant to be at http://www.churchlands.org.au/update/

but when i go there I get this in the url address bar:

http://www.churchlands.org.au/Default.aspx?tabid=268&error=Object+reference+not+set+to+an+instance+of+an+object.&content=0

I also can't login, register, access the "privacy statement" or the "terms of use" pages ... everything else is viewable as normal.

Can anyone help with this very wierd problem?
