My installation has been up and down the last couple days with no chages to any configuration.  This installation has been up and running live since may 2008.  I am running 4.08 on Godaddy hosting.  I am getting the following error

Server Error in '/Main' Application.

Request timed out.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: Request timed out.

Source Error:

An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

Stack Trace:

[HttpException (0x80004005): Request timed out.]

I called godaddy to ask if they had any changes to the server that the app runs on and they said no.  Any ideas?  I was not able to get into the log to find out if there were any errors this morning when it was up for a short time and went down as I was navigating to the log.

Thanks for any input.

pleae check the database:

  • size of transaction log; you might to truncate it
  • check the number of entries in Eventlog, ScheduleHistory, SiteLog and Search tables

I truncated the log files from the database, no luck on that so far.  Here is the new exceptions from the event log...any ideas or workaround.  I am unable to log into the site to make any adjustments from that side.

Disable all the scheduled tasks from the Schedule table to see if that helps.  You may need to do this from SQL Management Studio and make sure to keep a backup of the changes made.
