Not quite sure how to do this.  Even if it is even possible:

I have set up DNN on a virtual domain within my real domain.  i.e. www.mydomain.com/new

www.mydomain.com has my live ordinary IIS website running and www.mydomain.com/new has my DNN site that I have been developing.

I now wish to move the /new development DNN site to my live domain.  www.mydomain.com.

Any suggestions on how I do this.

Regards,

Chris.

Chris,

1.) Add a new portal alias for www.mydomain.com and mydomain.com.  (Admin -> Site Settings when logged in as host)

2.) Copy the DNN project from the /new folder to the root of the domain

3.) Validate that the site functions.  NOTE: you MIGHT have broken links!

4.) Use a tool to correct image and other links inside of Text/HTML modules that were broken as part of the migration.  (I have a free tool for 4.x at www.iowacomputergurus.com.  Engage Software also has one).
