I just restored from backup and left it at 4.9.4. The errors are simply too bizzarre to risk using in production at this point.

That site work fine with the upgrade, but the original does not.

Hmm - this is exactly what happened to me - cloned test site upgraded fine, live site does not.

= 2 days lost and 11 hours of downtime on my live production server.

I was upgraded the DNN during your site is down and sad to say, my site was down for half day as well. (Bad day to upgrade...). My html module was upgraded half way and I could not logon at all. Turns out that the old html module store procedure was still there after the upgrade. Spend the dat to reimport the content one by one z.

And just 2 weeks later DNN 5.1.4 is released. WTF...I'm totally not risking it this time.

I have a dotnetnuke portal, with some own created modules, where I use a telerik tooltip manager to show detailed information.

Everything have been working fine, until a recent update of dotnetnuke from 4.9 to 5.1.2.
Now, everything the tooltip shows is: [object Object]

I have been logging the result from the webservice, and that is ok. (<div>......here is the expected content.....</div>)
Creating a single page outside of dotnetnuke, with a tooltip manager, shows correct result.
- so I don't se the reason why it shouldn't work within my dotnetnuke-site.
(And more annoying: Everything works in my enviroment/computer - but not on the server!)

Anyone with any idea what and why?

AFAIk you need to upgrade Telerik controls to latest version.
