Hello,

I've performed an upgrade but my project doesnt'compile:

- Utils missing in Dotnetnuke.Services.Package

- SkinController.GetSkin missing

- Localization has also changed...

Many components in admin does not compile anymore.

Did I not upgrade correctly (upgarde package copied into my website folder and merge of web.config) or is it normal issues ?

As it is for a production site I must succeed to upgrade to the lastest stable version.

PLease help , thanks !

Are you using source installation? to upgrade source, you need to install source package (make sure, not to overwrite database.mdf, if using it).

you don't need to touch web.config.

I strongly suggest upgrading vto DNN 4.9.5 first.

I used the Upgrade package.

However, in the source package for 5.1.2  there is no more admin/host directory for example, so should we remove the old directory components ?

no, don't touch files manually, a proper upgrade will remove orphaned files and folders automatically - otherwise it indicates an error during upgrade.
