Hi,

After upgrading my test site to 5.1.2 from DNN 4.9.4 I now get JScript errors on all pages (including very simple pages like this)

http://test.pokerdiy.com/testimonials.aspx  (I have erased just about everthing on the page. I have cleared my browser cache/cookies etc. IE 8.

There are no Jscript errors in FF.

Interesting, thanks for the lead Eric.

I tried it but it does not seem to help - for example, I used the full path of the js files - now it gets the error 4 times - which says to me that it is loading those JS files correctly (ie. not the same issue as in that thread, BUT it's not liking something about them.

Thats interesting -  I don't get the error when I am logged in, only when Unauth.

For the record it happens on every single page - I can't work out what is different when you are logged in?

Rodney,
Just a gut feeling I guess, but this sounds eerily similar to an issue I had a while back.

One difference between your 2 scenarios on the test/live servers is cache isn't it? Which falls in nicely with having javascript errors.

While clearing the cache through host settings goes a long way sometimes, it also helps to do a quick stop/start of the site through iis admin.

In very rare cases (once, a long time ago with early v3 DNN), I actually had to go so far as do a server reboot. If I remember, it was a situation that comes close to what you describe.
