Just for the record, I tried restarting/clearing cache/deleting PageBlaster cache etc. but to no avail...  (I'm going to let a few more DNN 5.x versions go by before attempting again)

so did you ever get up enough courage to try the upgrade again?  If so what were the results?  I've run into the same issue and am curious if anyone has found an answer ...

Iv'e had the same problem - after I changed the IIS settings to 'Integrated Pipline'. After switching out and back in to this mode the errors went away. HTH. RK

If you are in 'Integrated Pipline' on IIS 7 try to swicth out and back into this mode. That solved my problems with the same errors. HTH RK
