I am installing DNN 5.1.3 on Windows 2008 with IIS7.  I need to install it using a specific domain user account to run the application pool, in order for other web servers to share information between the DNN application and themselves.

If I install DNN using the defaults, it works fine.  If I start from scratch, but use the domain user to run the application pool, it fails with this error:

Security Exception

Description: The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy. To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator or change the application's trust level in the configuration file.

Exception Details: System.Security.SecurityException: Request for the permission of type 'System.Web.AspNetHostingPermission, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.

I think that you will find that you need to set Load User Profile = True in the Advanced settings of your Application Pool - see http://geekswithblogs.net/ProjectLawson/archive/2009/05/05/iis-system.web.aspnethostingpermission-exception-on-windows-7-rc.aspx
