Thank  you Sebastian,

I didn`t know the HTML module had been converted to WAP format.  All I had to do was delete the DesktopModules/HTML folder from the Install package.  Everything was fine after that.  I was able to build the site in Visual Studio, and the DotNetNuke installation process installed the HTML module in the DesktopModules folder.

Thank you very much,

Andy

OK..I have been having problems with latest HTML module 5.1.3.

I got it from http://dnntexthtml.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=33033 and installed on DNN 5.2.

I get the following error.

Steps to repeat

Add HTML module to the page

Change the view to "Edit" mode

Click "Edit content" and type some text .

Error: is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.ModuleController.SynchronizeModule(Int32 moduleID) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlTextController.UpdateHtmlText(HtmlTextInfo objHtmlText, Int32 MaximumVersionHistory) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.EditHtml.cmdSave_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Can anyone suggest?

please use the module included in /install/module folder of the DNN upgrade package your applied last.

Make sure, /appcode/html folder is removed or empty.
