I recently upgraded to 5.1.4 from 9.4 and have a problem when I click the dashboard button under the hosts menu.  The error I get is:

Error: Dashboard is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The file '/Admin/Dashboard/Dashboard.ascx' does not exist

I noticed the dashboard files have been moved to /DesktopModules/Admin/Dashboard instead of the /Admin folder.  Is there a setting I need to change somewhere to make it look in the right folder?

If the issue is the path change (and I believe it is), the following steps will walk you through fixing it (btw my settings should be correct so you can just make yours look like mine):

  1. Login as a SuperUser (Host)
  2. Go to the "Host > Extensions" page
  3. Scroll down until you see Dashboard module listed
  4. Click its Edit Pencil
  5. Scroll down to the Module Controls section
  6. Click the Edit Pencil next to the Dashboard control
  7. Use the dropdown to select the correct path to the Dashboard control
  8. Click Update
  9. Do he same for the other paths if they do not match the image above (second image)

Please let me know if this does the trick.

Thanks Robert, that was it.  I guess I thought that would have been handled during the upgrade.  I'll go through my other modules and make sure they are all updated like they should be as well.

Well, every good upgrade needs to have at least one issue .  At least this one was easy to fix!
