Hi

I am currently running DNN 4.7 for the Office Intranet. We plan to upgrade to the latest version of DNN. How easy is this to do? Will all our content, skins, log-ins, active directory all still work??

I have a very basic knowledge of installing DNN on the server so any help is appreciated. I'm thinking I should create a backup just in case. Whats the easiest way to back up our Intranet in case we need to revert back to old?

I put together some detailed notes on upgrades the other day in the dnndocs wiki.

As for backing up your website, you need to run a backup of the database in SQL, and you need to make a copy of the website folder itself.
