I've been struggling for quite a while now trying to get DNN installed on a remote server. In my last attempt I created the site locally, did nothing to it but add the alias and change user info...I even installed it locally while pointing to the remote sql site. Anyway, I can get to the "default" page in IE albeit with a script error:

"Webpage error details

Any links off the page...login, home, register...result in the 404 error. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance.

it looks like you are missing jquery in the resources folder, either due to files not properly unzipped or missing file system permissions for the ASP.Net account.

Also make sure, DNN is installed in the root of an IIS web site or virtual directory.

Same thing here when using "New Web Site" in VIsual Studio 2008. I've tried both leaving the site as .NET 2.0 and 3.5. (Running from the VIsual Studio dev server.
