Hello,

We are trying to upgrade our site from 4.9 to 5.1.4.  We setup a test site first and ran the upgrade there.  The upgrade was installed.  However we are getting an error with the Text/HTML module.  A lot of the content on the site is controlled by the a third party module that does the content management (http://www.invenmanager.com/).  Any content controlled by that module is displaying fine.

You can see the site here:  http://test.signs.org/

The error being thrown by the Text/HTML module is:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count. ---> System.ArgumentException: Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count. at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.AssignParameterValues(SqlParameter[] commandParameters, Object[] parameterValues) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteReader(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Modules.HTML.SqlDataProvider.GetHtmlText(Int32 moduleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.HTML.HtmlTextController.GetHtmlText(Int32 moduleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlModule.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

This seems like a generic error and I cannot find any good details about it in the forums.

Has anyone else had a problem with the Text/HTML module after doing the upgrade?  Does anyone know how I can get more details on this error?

Thanks

please extract /install/module/html_05.01.04.zip from upgrade package and install using Install Wizard in Host :: Extensions

First, get the 5.2 release, then try the upgrade using the install package and not the upgrade package. That should do it.

please be aware, there are several issues reported in DNN 5.2.0, which needs to be validated. Until this is finished I suggest using DNN 5.1.4.

Sebastian,

Let me see if I understand what you are saying:

1.  Extract the Text/HTML module from the updgrade package.

2.  Run the upgrade package on our DNN 4.9 site (sans the Text/HTML module)

3.  Once the upgrade is finished, install the 5.1.4 version of the Text/HTML module.

Do I have these steps correct?

Thanks
