I am getting the following error when initiating the upgrade process from 05.01.04 to 05.02.00.

Anyone encounter this?

I assume you didn't properly unzip all files - or there have been file system permissions missing to install the new output caching provider.

Thanks for the reply.

I performed this upgrade in the same manner that I have used in previous upgrades.

1) backup SQL DB
2) backup DNN content files
3) unzip DNN upgrade package into new folder
4) copy new files and folders into existing DNN content folder
5) browse to site to initiate upgrade.
6) If I encouter errors I set file permissions to full control for 'NETWORK SERVICE' and try again.

I too thought it was probably permissions based error. However, when I set permissions for all child objects to full control I still get this error.

I also created a brand new site and used the complete install package. I was successful at creating a new 05.02.00 site.

I am still unsuccessfull at upgrading a 05.01.04 site to 05.02.00.

I downloaded the upgrade zip file from CodePlex again and tried the upgrade.

It worked perfectly. There must have been something wrong with the first zip file that I downloaded.

Thank you for following up. I just rebuilt an entire site when I got that error the other day :(
