Hello,

I am having an issue accessing DNN from outside my network. I installed a new version of DNN 05.01.04 (3) on a MS Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6.0.

I am able to access DNN from within my network. Trying from the outside I am able to hit a test HTML page at the web root but recieve a HTTP 404 error when attempting to access DNN.

Does anyone know if this is an IIS persmission issue, DNN setting, or both?

Thanks in advance for any help.
Dave

If you can get to a test page, it's not IIS or your network settings, it's DNN.  Most common would be the portal alias.

Thanks Jeff!

Solution:

Host -> Portal -> (Edit Portal - Pencil Icon) -> Advanced Settings -> Portal Aliases -> Add new Alias

Thanks again.
