hi,

I  have installed dotnetnuke in our intranet environment.

when instaling dotnet nuke  i created virtual folder as dotnetnuke in our main home page ,

now i want  to make dotnetnuke default page as my home page.

how can i do it

pls help.

 

so when i type www.mycompaypage.com i should get dotnetnuke default page from my intranet insted of previous homepage

The easiest and quickest way would be to just place a redirect page in the root of your website that sends people to /dotnetnuke, using an HTML redirect.

If you don't have anything else at the root of the site, and you want to get rid of the /dotnetnuke reference, making DNN run at the root, you can add a new PORTAL ALIAS to your portal, then modify your website settings in IIS to remove the virtual directory and point the website to the DNN folder.
