Hi I have a running site www.melepalayam.co.in in DNN 3.37 and trying to upgrade to latest verion without any loss of data, so that , i download file DotNetNuke_Community_05.01.04_Upgrade.zip and uploaded on my site root/New folder
Latest backup of my live site database is restored into different name and pointed for DNN upgrade at link http://site447.mysite4now.net/mpmprof... 

I am getting the error; Please experts help me to sort out this and to do easy migration.

Moving DNN from 3.3.7 to 5.1.4 is probably not doable in one step.  You will need to upgrade to several intermediate versions.  This will ensure the data is maintained as best as possible.

Please review Will Strohl blog on the suggested intermediate version.  Also ensure that each intermediate version is working as expected before proceeding to next version.

EDIT:  Also see Mitchel Sellers blogs  (search "upgrade" ) on how to upgrade -- will smooth the process
