I just installed  the Version 5.02.02 upgrade to one of my sites.

The upgrade appeared to go through ok and said it had installed.

On accessing the site, most of the pages are ok with the exception of a "contact us" page which uses the "form and list" module and the "forums" page which uses the DNN Forum module.

Here is the error from the contac page

Error: Form and List is currently unavailable.

And here is the error from the Forum page

Any help appreciated, I am reluctant to restore the site files because of previous problems that I have been unable to resolve with restoring sites.

did you upgrade both modules to latest version as well (using "install available extensions" in Host :: Extensions)?

Hi Sebastian,

No, I didn't do that.  To be honest, I didn't realise that it was there.
Should I have done that prior to applying the upgrade?

Is there any documentation regarding installing site upgrades?

Roger.

Roger,

please upgrade both modules to latest version now, there might be missing compatibities with prior versions, which has not been tested.

Hi Sebastian,

I installed version 5.01.01of the Form and List module. That fixed the problem with the forms straight away.

I installed version 4.05.03 of the Forums module but that gave the same error as before.
As the site is fairly new and there wasn't anything important on the forum, I removed the module, deleted the forum page, re-installed the module and recreated the Forum page.
It now seems to work ok.

I upgraded a second site, after first using the "Install Available Extensions" option that you suggested. This one went through without any problem.

Is there a specific document that describes how to upgrade live sites??

Thanks for the help.

Roger.
