I note with despair that an error first reported about seven versions ago, still appears to be happening.

I normally do the upgrades, but for the purposes of regression testing, I needed to install version 4.9.5 from scratch.

I got this in the debugger:

{
    $('txtFeedback').value += s;
}

... I've looked at the various suggested solutions and none of them appear to work for me - I'm using SQL 2008 on a Vista Ultimate dev machine.

Unfortunately, the 4.x framework is no longer being worked on.  As indicated in my blog post last September we have discontinued work on the 4.x branch and are focusing our efforts 100% on the 5.x platform.  My best recommendation is to migrate to the latest version and see if that resolves your issue.
