 I've installed the lastest version of dnn

i can access the site via localhost/dnn no problem

but if i try to acces the site dnn.mydomain.com i get the iss "under construction" page

what have i done wrong ???

loginto localhost/dnn as a superuser ("Host"), go to Host :: Portals and select your porrtals. Add dnn.mydomain.com as additional portal alias. Done.

I've tried that, but i still get the "under construction" page when i try to acces the alias

I've installed dnn under the default website without any changes to my iis

Any ideas ??

if i enter dnn.mydomain.com/dnn it changes the adress to localhost/dnn even if i enter the adress on another computer i my network so where in dnn do i chage that ??

update **** if i make the alias www.mysite.com/dnn and enter that adress i my web browser i works but if i change the alias to just www.mysite.com and enter that i end up at the site under construction page of my iis. Any ideas ???
