Hi,

I've migrated everything to my web server as per http://www.mitchelsellers.com/blogs/a...

I'm getting the installation wizard.  I'm expecting to get my home page.  Any ideas what could be going on?  I've checked the permissions.  I've set the config.  I've restored the database from my local.  Any ideas?

Thank you

most likely the database cannot be connected.

Hi,

In addition to double-check that both connection strings on the web.config file are OK, also verify this other key setting on the web.config:

        <add name="SqlDataProvider" type="DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider" connectionStringName="SiteSqlServer" upgradeConnectionString="" providerPath="~\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\" objectQualifier="" databaseOwner="dbo" />

If you've just cloned your site, the objectQualifier should be OK (no change needed, whether it is "" ,"dnn" or whatever.

However, the databaseOwner setting may not have sense on the new server i.e. if instead of the default "dbo" it says a database user name. Does this user exists on the new sql server and it can fully access all the DNN site database objects?

Thanks,

Horacio.-
