When logged in as Host user on a portal, the "Install extension wizard" (and all options for that matter) are missing from both the Admin>Extensions and Host>Extensions pages. There is simply no drop down, even when I change back to the DNN default skins for the admin pages. I can not find how to install a skin for a portal- except at the original parent site, but then the skin is available to all portals, which is not my intent.

Fixed. I didn't even notice, but the "mode" was set to View up at the top, not sure how/why I'd ever want to edit one of the admin pages- but that's the fix. Change your mode to "Edit"

I'm having this same problem.  I am definitely in "Edit" mode but still don't see the Install Extension Wizard link within the Extensions page while logged in as Host.  The link was previously there.  I installed a new skin 2 days ago and it was there then but is gone now.  Any suggessions?

Found a solution. The problem was due to the container that was set for the template I installed. I changed the container for the Extensions module to the default minimal extra... and the links reappeared.
