Installed version 5.4.1 onto webserver 2003 box with sqlExpress and dot 2.0.50727.
using connection string as follows (do not want to use mdf database file):-
<add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source={Server};Initial Catalog={Database};Integrated Security=True;User ID={LoginName}" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

The set-up wizard completes fine but the site shows 404 /login.aspx

I have installed a version 4.5.3 on same server and that is running fine.

Can latest version run on iis6+sql express2005+dot 2.0.50727 if not what is the latest version to work?

I am now confused with dot net 3.5 Sp1
Have this morning installed the framework onto the server-box but can't seem to find a way to set the application to use dot 3.5 from within IIS6 or web.config?
I was looking for Aspnet_regiis.exe -s but after Googling I found that apparently 3.5 is 2.0 but with extra assemblies?

So I set-about installing a new website via microsoft'  Web Platform Installer which checked the prerequisite (3.5 being one) and this again installed correctly, but I am still getting the HTTP 404 error for all pages from the default.aspx page?
Any ideas?
