I have a website built with Dotnetnuke residing on a Server 2003 SQL Server 2005 machine. I have since setup a new server running Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008. I have install the Dotnetnuke to the 08 machine and now would like to bring my website over from the 03 machine. Is this possible and if so, is there any documentation. The company that built and installed our website wants to charge $3000.00 to move the website and I just think this is not right.

Thanks,
John

Yes this is very much possible.
In short:
Detach the database and attach it to SQL Server 2008
Copy DNN folder to New Web server
Set Up IIS to see the DNN Folder
Open your Database in SQL2008
Open the PortalAlias Table make sure your deveploment URL is changed to your live URL.

That is it in a nut shell
