Hey everyone,

I didn't know where to post this so I am posting here. I am having a problem with myinstall I have MS SQL  2000  standard installed I created a db user and login that makes that user the db owner. And I got this error when I went to the intended site now I also have ASP.net 1.1 and ASP.net v2 installed as well.

Error Installing DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 03.02.02

ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider

So I was wondering if any of you good folks could help me thru this, I can post my web.config portion that deals with this. If need be thank you so much.

Try to explicitly connect to the DB using the username/password. A lot of times, the DB isn't configured correctly, which would result in an error like this.
