I have different portal Alias Set in DNN administrator and in HOST>Portals, I have created lot of child portal.

But in my web hosting account, if I access any child portal link, it redirects to Parent.

I have tried setting redirect in siteURL.config also the database contents appear fine.

All my domain point to same IP and are on single IIS server.

In URL

there is a comment:

For a single DNN instance there should be a single web site.  Multiple domain names are pointed to the same IP by DNS, then DNN uses the request headers to determine which portal gets the request.  You should never have multiple sites in IIS for a single DNN instance.

Why cant I point all the domain to single IP, and why does DNN child portal wont work if all domains are in single IIS server?.

Please help..

The good news, I think you have it 90% of the way!

It looks like you may be missing host headers? I am including a couple links that should help.

Hi,

I have the same issue. It was working to create a child portal before, but now it just redirects to the parent portal. My child portal doesn't have a domain name yet, so that I can't configure the IIS bidings to resolve the problem....

Please help....
