When i try to install the ms sql server 2000 enterprise edition in my windows xp professional edition sp3 then only the client option is available and the server and client option is disabled. Is there any way to install this sql server 2000 e/p version in my xp prefessional o/s. Please if any one can help me about this matter?

Install/Use the SQL Server Desktop/Personal edition that should of came with your SQL Server CD.

You can only use MSDE on Win XP (unless you're using SQL Server 2005). This is a Microsoft licensing issue.
