Long to short:

Trying to install to a server that has both MSSQL and MySQL databases. Which do I use?

As well, Charles Nurse's Installation guide is useless for Win7-64, running IIS 7.5.

Can someone help me get this darned thing installed, so I can be done with it?

Anthony, there is no mySQL data provider, so the short answer is to use MS SQL Server.

Scott: Ah, I gotcha. I was just noting that the host offers both MS* and My* databases ('MS SQL Database' and 'Manage MySQL'). I was confoozed-ed. #0_o# William: Thanks for the link! Will check it out. Hopefully this will help sort out any craziness... Hopefully.

Scott

DNN does not support MySQL, Even I have found this on various forums, blogs on google but codeplex has on URL :

https://dnnmysql.codeplex.com/

which says DNN allows to work on MySQL.

I have tried this but that will not work for me.

What is your opinion on this URL.
