Hi,

I'm new to DNN - I installed and the URL runs fine locally https://ws1/dotnetnuke/ (my server is called WS1), but when I try to connect remotely, I get an error message:

DotNetNuke Error

Windows Server 2003

I followed all the instructions from the installation manual. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Accepted Answer
what do you mean by remotely - from LAN or internet? did you setup DNN using address http://ws1/dotnetnuke or did you use localhost/dotnetnuke - in this case you need to add ws1/dotnetnuke as additional portal alias in Host :: Portals.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
