Hi,

I need some help finishing the installation of DotNetNuke. I've created the virtual directory in Windows Xp. I've got VS 2005 installed and Sql Server Express, 2005 . When I attempt to launch the DotNetNuke wizard by going to localhost/dotnetnuke I get "Directory Listing Denied". I used the management console to check the properties of the virtual directory. And when I checked the directory browsing switch I am able to see things, but the wizard never starts. So, I'm at a dead end. Can someone help me with this?

Thanks,

GreaseLightning

In IIS, set your default document to default.aspx.  See www.iis.net for help configuring IIS.

Hello. I like the new Web Platform install. A small but nice addition would be configuring IIS to add the default.aspx. And perhaps add a link at the final screen so an install can click/open and verify the install. Thanks DNN, for the hard work. ~ Adam

You'll have to make these feature requests to Microsoft through the WPI page on their site.

DNN does not build or control the Web Platform Installer we're just along for the ride
