When I did an Auto install of the DNN starter kit 5.5.1 (local install) I got this error:
00:00:29.218 -   Installing Package File Telerik_05.05.00_Install:  Error!

Everything else was success.

I can go to the portal and login - but why did I get the error?

I loaded this version to work with telerik menus etc. what do I do to correct the problem?

Thanks to Eric Swanzey and Rob Ralston of the Boston DNN user group my error has been corrected.

As downloaded from the DNN site the web.config file has <bindingRedirect newVersion = 2010.02.0713.35 . When I looked in the bin folder the Telerik dll was 2010.2.713.35  

I removed the leading zeros in the newVersion in the web.config - corrected value 2010.2.713.35 and re-did the install with complete success.

Given that  the web.config is wrong in both the install and starter kid packages I assume others will have this same problem.  I was unable to find any information from this forum so I hope this helps others.
