Getting an error installing DNN Community Edition 05.05.01 on a new install. Have installed a number of earlier versions of DNN.

This is on a Windows server with a separate MSSQL server on a web hosting company. Do not know what versions they are running of the OS.

Selected Custom install.

Getting error on the page Run Database Installation Scripts. Message says: Failure installing Database Scripts.

please make sure, your sql server is using a case insensitive collation.

Hello Sebastian,

The collation on the database is SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS.

Looks that is already case insensitive.

Thank you,
Andrew

The error message says:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Constraint 'PK_EventLogMaster' does not belong to table 'dnn_EventLog'.
Could not drop constraint.

Looking at the database in SSMS, the table dbo.dnn_EventLog has under Keys PK_dnn_EventLogMaster, with the "dnn_" qualifier.

Seems like there may be a bug in the qualifier not being included in that bit of code. Have people installed 5.5.1 with a qualifier?
