Hi Everybody,

last Weekend i Upgrage my Dotnetnuke 4.0.8 to 5.6.0, i don't use the Update Packed i use the Install Packed.

The Site works good but when i want edit a HTML Text i become the following error Message in my Event Viewer:

All works greate but the HTML Module makes only problem, i hope each one can help me :)

  1. please make sure, which version you are upgrading from - there has never been a version 4.0.8 but 4.8.0 (also written 04.08.00)
  2. always start with a full backup of all files and the database
  3. use the upgrade packages, which are provided especially for all upgrade scenarios
  4. if you need to upgrade large version differences, you should upgrade in multiple steps, e.g. from 4.8.0 to 4.9.5 and, after you made sure, you are running on .Net 3.5 SP1 and SQL Server 2005 or above, subsequently to DNN 5 latest version.
Roll back and follow the instructions above.
