Its pretty easy,:
  • Just add the portal alias for the "real" URL you will be using.
  • Then backup the database and the site files.
  • Transfer the files to your host
  • Get the database restored
  • Update your web.config for the new database connection string
  • Browse to your site.

All hosts have slightly different arrangements for how you do these things so you will need to work with them for the details.

Your question is not complete, if you like to launch a live site, you can refer to the above steps. If you want to find a DNN hosting provider, you can refer to this page to check more: http://www.webhostpark.com/windows-hosting/best-dotnetnuke-host

My folder structure in local PC was C:\DotNetNukeSetUp\Website\

I have copied all files from "C:\DotNetNukeSetUp\" including the folder "Website" and pasted in the server under folder "www.cmsweb.com".
Then I changed web.config for connection string and added "www.cmsweb.com" in the portal alias table.

but i am getting the error as "500 - Internal server error.

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."

please give me a solution...

Try contact your web hosting provider see if they have setup your webhosting properly. Make sure it has been set as ASP.Net apps and support SQL Server
