Hi All,

My Windows 2003 Server already has MOSS 2007 installed on it. I would like to know if DNN can coexist with MOSS? If so, do I install DNN as virtual directory under Default Web Site? Or, is there a different approach? I tried creating the virtual directory under Default Web Site. However, when I browse to localhost/DNN I receive a HTTP 404 error. Please also note that I need to install DNN 4.9.1. Thanks much for your help and guidance.

Could you just create a new website, rather than putting DNN in a virtual directory? I would also recommend using DNN 5.6.0, not 4.9.1

It's probably best to run DNN in an IIS website apart from MOSS because some HTTP handlers that are used by MOSS might get in your way.
I have a similar setup on my server: I run DNN on my Default Web Site on port 81, MOSS runs on a separate website on port 80.
Following this approach ensures that DNN is completely isolated from MOSS. You might want to avoid unexpected behaviour in either one of them.

Greets,
Nils
