Hi,

I'm pulling my  hair with this godaddy installation of DNN. Never had problems before, until i uninstalled (advise by Godaddy to install in root and found out it had to be installed in a folder - had to reinstall and thats when all these problems surfaced!)

I have uninstalled DNN on godaddy, also delete all the folders - have uninstall and reinstall almost 10 times in the last week. I have reset the permission, everytime it reaches to the end (last stage) I get this Runtime error message.


I have set the customeErrors mode to off and still the page will not load.... It is now and still showing the 404 (page not found) error.

Can someone please HELP ME! *crying*
(contacted Godaddy and they advised everything is working correctly on their end)

OMG, I can't believe it! After 10 attempts of installing and reinstalling DNN on Godaddy it finally worked!!!! Even tried installing on the root directory manually and that didn't work. Not sure how or why (was loosing faith and was going to cancel the hosting if all fails this time). I proceed with the normal Godaddy installation, the only difference i did this time, with the installation wizard, I clicked the typical installation rather than the custom. And i manually created another database (incase).... Not sure what the problem was, or whether it is one or both of these things that I did, or God finally had some sympathy for me... it finally worked!... THANK GOD! Thanks William and Hans for your help.
