I was at the installed step where dotnetnuke installed the database. However, it failed. I got the Failure installing Database Scripts message. How do I fix this? Thanks

either a timeout or a permission error occurred. did you use Express or SQL Server connection string type?

i have the same problem
i'm using advanced sqlexpress 2005 with management studio
xp pro , iis 5.1
i copied my DotNetNuke project to the wwwroot , set the permissions to aspnet and to IUSR.

my connection string is:

<add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=ROY-DEVELOPMENT\SQLEXPRESS;DATABASE=DotNetNuke;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=False" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

and in <asspsettings>:
<add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Data Source=ROY-DEVELOPMENT\SQLEXPRESS;DATABASE=DotNetNuke;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=False" />

its already a dnn(5.5.1) project that i'm working on in vs2008 and i'm running it in asp eviroument (local).
i have added my modules and stuff and its all working fine in this eviroument.
now i want to move it to the server(iis) so it can be viewd from other pc's in my company network but with no success.

when i write the address
http://localhost/DotNetNuke i get to the install page
next page i get Your site passed the permissions check.
next page i select sql server 2005/2008 database
server: ROY-DEVELOPMENT\SQLEXPRESS
database: DotNetNuke
Integrated Security unchecked, entered user name and password that i added to the database
run as db owner checked.
next page its runinng the install and its giving me the lines:

Installing Database - Version 05.00.00...Success
undefined...Success
undefined...Success
undefined...Success
undefined...Success
undefined...Success
undefined...Success
undefined...Success
a lot more of undefined...Success and in the end:
undefined...FAILURE  -

what am i doing wrong?
is it because its not a fresh install?
is it because i added to the database my own tables or added to the project my own modules(dnn modules)?
