I have a website currently running. It has a log in and users are kept and managed with ASP.NET membership. I would like to add a DotNetNuke instance to this website as an application in a virtual directory and then use the existing membership for the dotnetnuke users as well. Is this possible? After installing the dotnetnuke  in a virtual directory and running as an application I get web.config error when I try to view the page. As help is appreciated.

if you install DNN in a virtual directory, you need to modify web.config NOT to inherit a couple of settings. Re-using membership might be challenging though, due to version and configuration conflicts.
