Recently moved 5.x installation to Server 2008 R2 and also upgraded to 05.06.02 (144).

When going to Admin File manager and expanding the root the little graphic just spins and spins. Went to the host File Manager and I am able to expand the root, even add a new directory and delete it so I don't think it's a permission issue.

What can I do to correct this ill timed behavior? I can't even get in to set various access rights. gah!

This may be caused by a known issue of DNN 5.6.1 and 5.6.2 when compression has been enabled in Host Settings. Let's try this . . .

When logged in as host user . . .

1. Navigate to Host --> Host Settings
2. Open the Advanced Settings then Performance Settings Sections.
3. If Compression Setting is any value other than "No Compression" change it to "No Compression"
4. Update Host Settings.
