I have  created a website as a locahost and have been adding content to the website daily until today when the url started defaulting to the dnn installation wizard. This happens on both the IE and firefox browser. I upgraded to firefox 4 today. I am not sure if that is causing the problem. Does anybody have any quick solutions to this issue?

Try different browsers, check whether SQL Server is Running. Probably IIS works fine but issues contacting SQL Server. Click Start, type services.msc and checkout status of MSSQL Server. Also review the structure of connection strings at web.config.

SQL is running. I am not sure what to look for in the connection strings. I am wondering why all of the sudden there would be a connection problem.

maybe some IIS configuration has been changed, preventing access to the SQL server, which is the most common reason for the install wizard to show up.

We found the problem. The password for SQLServer had expired, so although SqlServer has started,  DNN could not access it. Have configured SQLServer so that the pw does not expire. Thanks for responses.
